______patronus,
When Valko was seven and upset that his brother could transfigure things much better than he could, his father took him outside to cheer him up. His method was to transfigure one of the dragon statues along their manor into a living statue, a spell he told at a later time after he begged so many times to know that it was called Draconifors. It was a skill that his family was said to have created a long, long time ago though there was no proof; however, all it takes is a rumor of great ancestry to make it so in the wizarding world it seems. The memory of seeing the dragon come to life is his happiest memory and thus, his patronus is a stone dragon that resembles a Ukranian Ironbelly.
______polyjuice potion,
He would most likely choose to be one of the teachers for a day, just to act different and see how others would react to it. Granted, Valko would be extremely careful, but still have fun with it. No need to be boring, after all.
______mirror of erised,
If he looked into the mirror, Valko would most likely see his father with him still. Given he died not long after showing him that spell after a backfired transfiguration and...well, things are gruesome. The point is, he wants his real dad back.
______veritaserum,
He shows a kind face to the world, but he actually could care less. His only interest in doing the right thing is because the world would be a very boring and disgusting place after the bad people manage to win. Who wants that nonsense?
___special ability/abilities,
After having been bested in transfiguration by his older brother, he decided a different feat and worked for years on becoming an animagus. One time in fourth year, he began sprouting fur because of a backfire in the spell and thus had to rush back to the dorm and hide it out. However, he is proud to secretly announce he has perfected the art and can transform into an Eastern Wolf.

______reputation,
In Bulgaria, the Damyan family is well known for being the best at Transfiguration around. Even today, with his father gone, his older brother maintains the business with ease and that leaves Valko to do as he pleases. If only he knew what he wanted to do now. So his family is somewhat well known and while for a time, it was believed he was a werewolf for that whole fur outbreak incident, for the most part people consider him nice. Unless you're a close friend, then you realize he's pretty two faced.
______personality,
According to the Sorting Hat, those who are intelligent belong in Ravenclaw, those who are brave belong in Gryffindor, those who are kind belong in Hufflepuff, and those who are cunning belong in Slytherin. Being all of these, it is Valko's determination and desire to be better than his brother and prove himself that put him in Slytherin. That and the fact he'd really just rather push you down and stomp on your face then give you a hug, but hey, there are some things the Sorting Hat just can't deal with all at once. Though loyal to a fault, he has a vipers tongue when the time calls for it and it shows when he is with people who know him the best. They can see past that smile to the fangs, past the hand outstretched in a shake to the claws that wait to claw someone apart; he's exactly like a wolf in sheeps clothing. He'll wait and wait until you least expect it and then kick you while you're down. Everyone has to have a hobby. Valko's is being a complete mystery to even the people who hate that they trust him the most.

______ancestors,
His family is said to have been the originator of the Draconifors transfiguration spell, which turns stone statues of dragons into live ones that are under the casters control. This is highly unknown, but believed to be true.
