upon entering the grand oak doors of hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry, this is the first hall to be entered. it is spacious, dimly lit by candle light. a massive staircase lies to the opposite side of the main doors, leading up into the mysterious places the school has to offer, as well as the great hall.
