hogsmeade is the last surviving entirely magical village in britain. its a friendly little village with curious people. hogsmeade is within walking distance from hogwarts and is often visited by the students in their spare time, a popular place for everybody within the grounds of the school to visit. its the only place the students are allowed to visit during the school year outside of the hogwarts grounds.
