______favorite flavor of bertie bott's jelly beans,
toasted marshmallow, of course!
______patronus,
alcott's patronus is the majestic gryphon which symbolizes his true and noble heart. when casting his patronus, alcott thinks about the day he was inducted into the third rebirth of the order of phoenix in his fifth year. it had been four months after the aurors came together and decided that the third wizarding world was approaching; they began to choose various wizards and witches throughout england. to his surprise, alcott was one of the lucky few picked to be members of the order.
______polyjuice potion,
alcott, if given a polyjuice potion, would choose to become his famous grandfather and biggest idol, harry potter. alcott is a humongous admirer of his grandfather and strides to make a difference in the world because of him. in fact, alcott is a little envious of everything grandfather harry had done at eighteen years, while he, at the same age, has done very little in comparison. he longs for a day where he is just as accomplished and revered as the great harry potter.
______mirror of erised,
looking into the mirror of erised, alcott would see his grandfather patting him on the back as well as the rest of the order of phoenix applauding in the background. alcott longs to make a difference in the wizarding world; he yearns to be just as great his grandfather through his work with the order in their fight against the dark forces.
______veritaserum,
when given veritaserum, alcott may reveal that he has strong feelings of doubt in himself. although he does not seem like he does, alcott fears that he will disappoint his grandfather as well as the rest of the order and not live up to his grand expectations. he appears confident, but in reality, is far from it.
___special ability/abilities,
the descendent of salazar slytherin, like the rest of the potters, alcott is able to speak parseltongue.
...
______reputation,
around school, alcott is known as a talented, serious student who, like his parents and grandparents, is destined for greatness. what with the uprising of dark magic in recent years, many people whisper that alcott will be the next savior of the wizarding world or perhaps one of the other potters. in a similar vein, many of his teachers agree that he is incredibly bright. although he sometimes becomes impatient with his school work, he does end up pulling through with, at the minimum, EE's in all his classes. in terms of girls, alcott does not have the greatest luck. although many female hogwarts students describe him as 'swoon-worthy', he is too shy and nervous to speak to any of them, worrying that he will make a fool of himself.
______personality,
alcott is incredibly ambitious, quick-witted, and courageous. he longs to become a successful wizard and make a beneficial impact in the world. he realizes that in his road to success, he will be faced with much adversity and potentially risk his life, but alcott knows that sacrifice is necessary in his fight to make the world a peaceful. alcott is also a fiercely loyal friend and will be there for his friends no matter what. still, he does not fare well with those from slytherin and in fact, detests nearly all of them and stays true to the age-old gryffindor vs slytherin rivalry. on numerous occasions, he has gotten into spats with various slytherins which led to points being deducted from both houses. he's very temperamental and when he begins arguing with somebody, it is almost impossible for alcott to control himself and stop. in addition, he is incredibly stubborn and when he has a view-point, he sticks to it. even when he realizes he is wrong, alcott will simply refuse to admit it.
alcott can also be described as extremely anxious and nervous. around girls, he's not exactly a suave player. quite the contrary in fact. he often gets dry mouthed and fidgety and so, alcott has never really had a 'real' girlfriend unless you count lyra, his sandbox mate when he was four. this anxiety also translates into his dreams of becoming a revered auror and making a mark in the world. alcott is constantly worried that he will not live up to expectations. perhaps he is not smart enough, or not agile enough, or just not lucky enough. all of these thoughts run through his head on a daily basis. his anxiety develops into a low sef-confidence in himself and alcott's emotions are constantly on an up and down rollercoaster. one moment he will be excited for his future and of all the great things he knows he will accomplish, and in the next moment, he will be depressed and reclusive as he believes he is simply not good enough.

______brief history,
born on december fourteenth eighteen years ago, alcott edgar potter opened his eyes to a world with glowing, inviting faces. his father, james potter, was the son of the famous harry and ginny potter. his mother, brownen waltmore, was the daughter of two regular wizards who had gone into hiding when voldemort began his campaign of terror. born into a world that was peaceful and free of darkness, alcott lived the life of any regular young wizard alongside his younger brother and sister.
at age eleven, he was accepted into hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. there, he was sorted into gryffindor for his young chivalry and courage just like he and his parents had expected. alcott absolutely loved hogwarts. it was like a playground for him. he quickly made friends with the rest of the gryffindors and wore his red and orange tie proudly, ignoring the nasty slytherins who would whisper rude remarks to him in the hallway. his brother and sister soon joined him.
during his second year, reports of dark magic began to surface all around the wizarding world. his mother, brownen, would often times come home from work as a correspondent for the daily prophet absolutely frightened by the influx of news. people began to go missing; people were being tortured; people were being killed. his father and mother were worried about the fate of the wizarding world. there were dark marks popping up in the skies. yet nobody knew who was perpetuating these crimes because voldemort was of course dead and yet, death eaters were making a return. still, alcott's parents assured their children that all would be well.
in his fifth year, alcott received a mysterious owl from an anonymous sender that invited him to a random house in the outskirts of london. when he made his way over there, alcott discovered that it was the domain of the newly reinstated order of the phoenix that had been created nearly a hundred years ago to fight the death eaters. there, alcott was invited by his grandfather, harry potter, alongside the rest of the order to join them. they saw him as a great candidate for the risky and dangerous job--he was adept, swift, and powerful. alcott gladly accepted as it had always been a dream of his to become an evil-fighter just like his grandfather.
since then, alcott has been hard at work perfecting his defense against the dark arts. he knows that a third wizarding world is approaching, but is worried as the order's opponent has yet to be identified. all he knows is there is someone killing witches and wizards and muggles. someone very similar to voldemort, and he fears that perhaps he and the order of the phoenix will not be powerful enough to stop him.
