issy is blunt. she is straight to the point and never holds back. she isn’t mean on purpose, and never actually means harm, but her mouth doesn’t have a filter and thus her sharp tongue lashes out at anyone and everyone. she never instigates, and she doesn’t start things, but if she were to come upon a situation where someone is being bullied she will butt in and make it her business. other than her mother and grandmother, she has never been close to other people. she often sticks to herself, enjoying the presence of her books over people and silence over conversation. she is very much a loner, but it doesn't bother her in the least. her mother’s death has made her quite bitter and frightened of losing anyone else ( even her father, despite hating him so ).

issy lost her mother when she was no older than eight. to say she took it hard is an understatment, and for quite a while she wouldn’t eat let alone speak. unable to say more than a word to his daughter without her shrieking, issy’s father shipped her off to live with her grandmother, on her mother’s side. her grandmother took the utmost care of her, and made gradual progress though issy has yet to return to the sweet thing she used to be. issy would spend most of her days in her grandmother’s library, or out under a tree. either way, her nose always seemed to be in a book of some sort. other than the house cat, issy never made friends. she was accepted into hogwarts, and much to her grandmother’s dismay hasn’t necissarily made friends with anyone other than her studies.
