______patronus,
andromeda malfoy's best memory, the most pure and innocent and untainted one, is the last time she can remember her father telling her he loved her. she was young, and he’d taken her out all day, being the only girl in the family at the time, and at the end of the day they’d spent together in london, he said the three words she never heard again. not only is the memory he happiest one, but it fuels her to finally make her father proud of her again. her patronus form is a wolf, fierce and independent.

if andie could be anybody for a day, she would choose to be a professional quidditch player, somebody who had every possible thing they could ever want or desire, and did what they loved for a living. it would be heaven for her to wake up in the morning, and the only thing she had to worry about was flying a broomstick, and not fighting with her teammates.

andromeda simply wishes to be good enough, she wants power and elegance in the palm of her hand. she wants to be somebody worth being proud of, somebody that will be revered and renown in fame for the rest of her life.

______reputation,
well, she’s known as a malfoy, the pale skin and snow white hair tend to give her away. that alone will start assumptions in people’s heads before they’ve ever even met her. around hogwarts she’s been known as an elitist, self-centered, audacious, abrasive piece of work. She’s one of the most persistently obnoxious of her siblings, always trying to turn things around to shine on her. she’s a bit crazy, and people known not to try and mess around with her. she gives off a sort of “look, but never touch” vibe that most people heed to.
______personality,
spiteful, vindictive, bitter, conceited, all these words would easily be used on a daily basis when describing andromeda malfoy. she's never quite been a kind, loving little soul who picked flowers for her teachers or believed in world peace and acceptance. no, andromeda has never been that likable girl one could only hope and pray for a malfoy to be. she takes herself very seriously, always striving to be the best in her class with her quick-wit skills and uncanny ability to charm her teachers into adoring her. its an unspoken need of hers, to be the absolute best, which is extremely difficult in a family of five, especially when her father plays favorites. despite never being the one to shine most of her siblings, she is quite proud to be a pure blood, thinking very little of anybody below her. andie is also dark, there's really no other way to put it. she has a sort of bitter aura about her that screams unhappiness, which is generally just taken as her being intimidating. she's fiercely loyal, but only because of her undying competitive nature.
the part about andromeda that nobody would ever imagine, is that she really does have a softer side, one wrapped in barbed wired and ice, but it is there, hidden under all her malevolent comments and hurtful actions. there's a little girl behind it all who only wants acceptance. she quiets it by being known as the ice princess of the school, infamous for the way she treats people. and though she never would admit it, she has insecurities, and she questions herself a lot. andie is also extremely charismatic. she has a way of catching somebody's attention and holding it. she's always been a natural born leader. as a friend, she's one of the best friends one could ever hope to have. while yes, she's controlling and exceptionally manipulative, andromeda would always have the back of somebody she considers to be a true friend, and be very trustworthy as well. unfortunately, its not often she lets people close enough to be considered a friend over a follower.

______brief history,
scorpius and delphine malfoy met during their hogwarts days, both of them being pure blood slytherins from particularly wealthy families. she was a year younger than him, and from the moment they met they hit it off. they were "high school sweethearts," in a sense, and once they started dating, they never stopped. they got married soon after their days in hogwarts, and then began having children, all of them very close in age. andromeda eloise malfoy was the second child to be born, although the second was her twin brother, so it is somewhat of a moot point. regardless, delphine adored all her children, and they were spoiled with gifts galore and showering material objects as they grew up.
their parents always taught them to not pay any attention to the half bloods, muggle borns, or even muggles as a child. they ingrained the seed of bitter conceit into andromeda's heart when she was but a child, and it stuck too. however, in her younger days when she was about seven or so, she did have one muggle born witch friend, and when her father found out he sat her down and tore her apart verbally about everything he'd taught her and how she would be the downfall of his family name. delphine later sat her down as well, but took a much different approach, quietly telling her that they weren't the type of people she should be associating with, but she was young, and it was okay because there was still time to learn. she'd ever admitted that her first boyfriend had been a half-blood, but never to repeat it again. that was the start of andromeda's close relationship to her mother, and a particularly disjointed one with her father.
from then on, andromeda had a secret, shadowy hate for her father, which only grew over the years. she despised that man for making her feel so inferior, and yet she couldn't help but want to win his affection for her. no matter what she did, however, he barely even took notice. it was like somebody had slipped her an invisibility potion in the night and he simply could not see her. even despite all her failed attempts, andie kept trying. it became her unspoken goal in the world to see the light in his eyes when she did something he would be proud of, something he would boast about, telling everybody what his daughter, andromeda, had done. there wasn't much she could do though, especially as a child, and it usually ended in her feeling more dejected than ever, and delphine cheering her up.
once andromeda ended up in hogwarts, she immediately began trying to earn herself a reputation. her elder brother was already there, and her twin had come with her, but she needed to make herself memorable, and being the first female malfoy, she decided to set her prize as earning the title of ice queen. she immediately began her unyielding tirade on the students of hogwarts, not really caring who they were when she cleverly thought of ways to make their lives miserable. from outshining them in class, to hexing their meals, she quickly made her enemies. scorpius barely cared, but andromeda wasn't about to get herself worked up over it. she consoled herself with the fact that people were scared of her. even if her father didn't notice, she was somebody worth recognizing, somebody people knew about.
quidditch was a whole new world for andromeda. she made seeker her second year at hogwarts after the current one left. she was light, had an expensive broomstick, and an unwavering determination for winning. it became her only healthy pastime, really. and it only added to her reputation. she was never quite as vindictive on the quidditch field. it was the one place that was untainted by her name or a need to prove herself, though her competitive nature still managed to shine through. her team, in a way, was like an extended family. even if she absolutely despised one of them, she had to tolerate, and they could still bond over how stupid that boy on hufflepuff looks when he scores a point on his own team.
when andromeda began her sixth year at hogwarts, however, her entire life was turned upside down. she and her twin brother were given the option (or in other words, do or die choice), to become a death eater. as naive as it may have sounded, andromeda was shocked. a death eater? wasn't the time for those passed? there wasn't even a dark lord anymore. she discovered her elder brother was already a member, and her twin too, and suddenly she found herself swearing the oath. it was just another thing, hoping maybe her father would find some thing extraordinary about her decision. he didn't, but he did smile darkly with an unspoken pride for the three of them, she assumed, and that seemed to be a start. she suddenly felt this craving to be the best at it, she wanted to be renown, whatever the reason for another rising of the death eaters might be. and it only fueled her despising of those who weren't with her, but against her.
